CREATOR
Director/Writer Wolfgang Lehmkuhl - Wolfgang
Lehmkuhl's creative adventures began at the age of five, making
crude radio skits with his writing and producing partner, Daniel Probst.
Armed with a VHS camcorder, his teens were spent shooting a wide array
of video projects. After graduating, Lehmkuhl moved to Dallas, where
he worked as a freelance photographer and cemetery groundskeeper.
The production of the feature film Cannibal marked his return to St.
Louis, as well as his directorial debut. He has since made a second
feature, Surviving Dirk, and a short comedy, Reject This Film, which
premiered at the St. Louis Filmmaker’s Showcase in July 05 and
was invited to screen at the St. Louis International Film Festival
in November 05. Wolfgang currently has six music video/short films
in competition in the Nine Inch Nails Ghosts Film Festival on YouTube,
two comic book properties in development, a third feature film, The
Dead and the Dreaming, and his upcoming novella, Alchemy Rum is slated
for an early 2009 release. Wolfgang uses photography to fill voids
in his creative schedule, using only 35mm film.
In 2008, Mr. Lehmkuhl Directed an astounding
seven music videos for the Nine
Inch Nails Festival, a feat not easily attempted by any director.
